Three Foods That I Absolutely Hate🤢

Hey everyone, it’s your girl Lauren! Today I’m going to tell you about the three foods that I despise. All three of these foods are very common and I always get weird looks and comments when I tell people that I don’t like them. So without further a do, let’s get started!

I feel like cake is just so overrated. People always say that it’s the best thing in the world but I just don’t get it. And it’s not just one flavor of cake that I hate, it’s all of the flavors. Now don’t get me wrong, I love looking at aesthetically pleasing cakes like the one in the picture, but I would never eat it.

Peanut Butter:

Just thinking about it makes me sick. I’m sorry, but everything about peanut butter is disgusting. The flavor, the texture, even the smell! I hate it so much that for lunch, I don’t eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I just eat jelly sandwiches. That may sound weird, but it’s actually really good. No one could pay me enough to eat peanut butter.

My dislike of chocolate is a little different from the rest. I am ok with eating chocolate if it’s with other things, like Twix is chocolate with caramel and a cracker sort of thing (I love Twix). But I can’t eat plain chocolate. I also can’t have chocolate flavored anything which includes chocolate ice cream, hot chocolate, chocolate cake, etc. (you get the point). It just tastes so sweet to me and it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.

A Self-Love Activity💚

Hey everyone, it’s your girl Lauren! After much deliberation, I’ve decided to delete all of my old posts on this blog & start fresh (except for my ‘a little bit about me’ post). My new goal for this blog is to get more comments & get to know some more people in the blogging world, so please feel free to comment if you have any questions or connections😊. Today at school, my class did an activity relating to self-love & it was incredible, so I’ve decided to share about it with you. So without further a do, let’s get started!

We had a few high schoolers come down & talk to us about self-empowerment & self-love. At first I thought that this was just going to be another one of those corny things where someone tells you about why you should love yourself, but I feel like the way they did it made it really impactful. We were sitting in a classroom (about 14 of us, all girls) & our instructors told us to write down 10 things that we loved about ourselves, but the twist was that you couldn’t write down anything about your appearance. I found this part really difficult & when the time was up, I had only written about 4 things. I guess I had just never really thought about it that much, you know? I couldn’t thing of much that I liked about myself💔.

Then we made & decorated little bags & the instructors gave us notecards. We had to pass our bags around the room, & everyone wrote something that they liked about the person who’s bag they got. Once everyone had gotten notes from everyone else, we got to read what people said about us. Let me tell you, my heart started GLOWING💛. I was in a room with girls who I didn’t talk to much, but they still had the nicest things to say about me. They all said that I was amazing at basketball & that I was really funny. Someone even said that I was extra (that’s very accurate)😂.

It was crazy looking back at it though. Me, myself, & I, who I’ve know longer than anyone else in that room couldn’t think about 10 things that I liked about myself, but all of these semi-strangers had the sweetest things to tell me. They said that I had a positive energy & that I was very encouraging💗. I would have never guessed in a million years that those people would say those things about me. Either way, it totally brightened my day & I was in such a great mood for the rest of the day😇.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog, it really means a lot to me! If you are a teacher, or even a student, I would recommend that you do this activity at school, it really is mind blowing. That’s it for today! I appreciate you all so much & I hope that you have a blessed day❤️.

A Little Bit About Me💕

Hey y’all, it’s your girl Lauren! So since this is my first blog, I figured that I would tell you a little bit about me. So without further a do, let’s get started!

First of all, I live in the USA and I have never traveled outside of my country, which is awful, considering that one of my many dreams and ambitions is to travel the world. My top 3 countries that I would like to travel to are France, Ireland, and Brazil. I love everything about France ; the culture, the language, the food, the people, the landmarks, and so much more. I have always wanted to go to Brazil because of the diversified culture and the amazing food, and Ireland has always been a place that I have wanted to visit because most of my family has actually come from there!

Speaking of foods, I love food with such a passion. I love wings, hamburgers, steaks, spaghetti, muffins, ice cream, waffles, brownies, and so much more. Some of my favorite candies are Swedish Fish, Twix, Gobstoppers, Skittles, & Milky Ways, and my favorite drinks are Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, IBC Cream Soda, & Mountain Dew.

I also have lots of hobbies and passions. One of my favorites is playing basketball. I dedicate loads of my time towards training for basketball and that’s something I really love to do. I don’t have a ton of spare time, but when I do, I like to sing, dance (hip hop), and read. I don’t consider myself to be too creative and I am a total introvert. These will obviously be some things that I will write about on my blog. One of my big pet peeves is when I can’t find a good book, so I will have loads of suggestions for you guys if you are having those same struggles.

So what are my goals for my blog? My initial goal is to have someone from every country in the world look at and read my blog. In 3 months, I would like to have people from at least 10 different countries look at my blog.

Thank you so much for reading my blog, I hope you have a blessed day! Please comment what you think I should write about next, and I look forward to learning a little bit about all of you! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!
